I have been an avid reader from the time I could understand a sentence with a dictionary close at hand. I have worked as a Contract Administrator for over twenty years which has a very black and white, structured view of language. Writing allows me the freedom to express my creative side and love of all things romantic. My patient family often listens to me describe my characters as if they were real people while drinking a never-ending supply of coffee or eating chocolate covered espresso beans.

My desk buddy is my corgi Dexter. He is most often found lounging n the recliner or laying on the pillows under the window next to my desk snoring. He is never far from my side and listens attentively as I explain plot lines or character interactions. His feedback earns him tons of cookies and lots of love...and yet he remains fairly slim.
